A propos de Grosfillex :
L’histoire de Grosfillex commence en 1927, lorsqu’ Auguste, François et Jean Grosfillex décident de fonder leur entreprise dans le petit village d’Arbent, niché aux pieds du Jura. Le bois est alors le matériau de base des produits fabriqués (coquetier, rond de serviette, manche d’outils, maillets …)
A partir de 1954, Raymond Grosfillex donne à l’entreprise son orientation industrielle et commerciale. L’entreprise s’éloigne du produit purement utilitaire et se lance dans la fabrication de produits plus élaborés, tournés vers l’habitat : mobilier de jardin, bacs à plantes, portes extensibles, menuiseries… Les produits en bois laissent place aux premiers produits en plastique. La success story avait commencé.
Bien que 50% de la production de Grosfillex se vende à l’étranger, l’entreprise est toujours restée proche des valeurs et des traditions de l’artisanat tout en s’attachant à innover sans cesse dans le sens de la satisfaction des consommateurs.
